This is a walk that allows views across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire
The walk takes in country lanes that allows views across open countryside, or at times through tree and bush lined lanes that give welcome shelter from the sun and if inclement the weather

You skirt the edge of Therfield and Royston, but also follows the Gallops which if you are fortunate will allow you to view horses training
Dependent on the direction you walk this route you will also encounter the Prehistoric burial mounds at the top of Therfield Heath
