Over the last few years we (my wife and I) have walked several long distance paths.

Our three favourites so far ….

  1. West Highland Way
  2. South Downs Way
  3. Hadrian Wall Trail

Other paths that we have walked partially are

  • Icknield Way (mainly around our local area)
  • Pedder’s Way (Norfolk Coastal Path)
  • Ridgeway
  • Greensands Ridge Walk (a shorter Long distance walk of around 40 mile)
  • John Bunyan Trail (a walk that meanders around the Bedfordshire countryside just clipping Hertfordshire)

I like to think of the Pedder’s Way Icknield Way and Ridgeway all one Path. But, I don’t think we will walk it all in a holiday, we do hope to walk it in sections over the next couple of years. From the East cost at Hunstanton down to the South Coast near Salisbury.
