This walk takes from the Edge of Pegsdon hamlet up to Deacon Hill, then along the ridge of Pegsdon Hills. On the walk you past three barrows (ancient burial mounds), The probable long barrow at Knocking Knoll, the round barrow at Tingley Plantation, the round barrow at Telegraph Hill. Then down to Ravensburgh Castle, probably an Iron Age fort or perhaps earlier. Through Hexton and back to Pegsdon.
