This was probably the hardest part of the walk and the longest part as we had initially planned the walk to finish at the old terminus as our hotel for the night was nearby, but prior to the walk we found out there was a new terminus in the the town centre so we had to complete the walk there just as we started our walk at the station and not at the town centre in Milngarvie
The weather was pretty good throughout the walk with just drizzle or showers or even warm sunshine.
The start of the last day was glorious with beautiful warm sun and with the only concern being the midges or the need for sun protection. Later on just after sighting Ben Nevis in the distance the clouds gathered and the rain came down.
Camera got soaked. I got soaked but i did have wet weather gear so dry underneath. (that trick of putting a camera in a bag of rice really does work, my camera got soaked and it stopped working. So i put it in a bag of rice to dry it out, mind you i did leave it in for a month and now it does work.)
But when you get to the first terminus next to the shop remember you need to walk through the town, but yes its worth it.
